We will keep this ride to a moderate pace northbound but will break into separate groups according to ride ability and speed on the route home. The average group pace is 15-17 mph. All rider levels are welcome and we usually have multiple ride groups to suit different abilities. This is a monthly repeating ride. As always, remember to bring extra tubes, air, nutrition, and fluids for the ride. Safety is always the top priority for all of us while we out on the road.

One of San Diego's great training rides - this coastal and inland route will take us up Hwy 101 then through San Elijo Hills to Elfin Forest and back through the Del Dios Hwy to Rancho Santa Fe and the Coast. About 40 miles and around 2000 ft of climbing make this a great ride to improve your ride ability. The ride leaves from the Performance store in Sorrento Valley. For advanced riders there is an additional loop which adds 20 miles. As always helmets are mandatory. Bring your own nutrition, spare tubes and inflation. Check out the map my ride link to the route if by chance you get lost or separated from the group for whatever reason.
